*Part-Time * Apartment Maintenance Technician

Career Strategies is now hiring a Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician in the Rensselaer, IN area!

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and support an apartment community. This position is perfect for someone with hands-on experience who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in creating a great living environment for residents.

What You’ll Do:

• Complete make-readies, unit turns, and work orders
• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs
• Handle painting, drywall, and general maintenance tasks
• Maintain clean and safe community grounds (including snow removal in winter)
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
• NO ON-CALL SHIFTS!

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1 year of apartment maintenance experience
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have tools
• HVAC experience preferred (certification not required)
