Overview:
CommonSpirit Medical Group is seeking a passionate and dedicated Women's Health Physician Assistant to join[ Academy Women's Healthcare Associates]() in Colorado Springs, CO. The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive and compassionate healthcare services to women across the lifespan, focusing on preventative care, reproductive health, and gynecological care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Patient Care: Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
- Quality Improvement: Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
- Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- 1 year of experience in a clinical or advance practice setting, preferred
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
- Graduate from an Accredited PA school required
- Board certified as an Advanced Practice Provider, in applicable population foci and/or sub-specialty.
- BLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
- ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
- Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with associated articulated plan.
- Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
