Resident Coordinator
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Resident Coordinator for our nonprofit client located in Santa Barbara. This position will be 100% onsite and a swing shift from 2p-10:30p. This will also be a contract opportunity for our client through the end of the year.
This position will be a support position assisting our client's staff and program participants in an interim housing environment. The role will be helping to de-escalate situations, performing room checks, guiding tours for guests, and being a support to anyone within the facility that needs it. Interested candidates must feel comfortable working with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health and/or substance abuse ailments.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year customer service experience, experience working the homeless population strongly desired
Proficiency working within Microsoft Office
Skills
Empathy and compassion towards others while being able to maintain a professional boundaries
Ability to work well in a fast-paced enviornment and de-escalate situations calmly
Can multitask and remain organized throughout the day
Accuracy and detail-oriented
Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
