Combo TIG Welder – 2nd Shift ($27+/hr)

Position Summary:
An established Oil & Gas manufacturer is seeking an experienced Combo TIG Welder for 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have strong TIG and MIG welding skills, experience working on high-pressure piping or components, and the ability to produce X-ray quality welds. This is a hands-on, production-focused position with competitive pay and long-term opportunity.
An established Oil & Gas manufacturer is seeking an experienced Combo TIG Welder for 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have strong TIG and MIG welding skills, experience working on high-pressure piping or components, and the ability to produce X-ray quality welds. This is a hands-on, production-focused position with competitive pay and long-term opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel materials for oil and gas equipment.
- Complete X-ray quality welds meeting company and industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring correct amperage, voltage, and gas flow.
- Perform fit-up, prep, and layout as needed.
- Inspect completed welds for defects and make necessary repairs.
- Maintain safety standards and a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with other welders, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of TIG welding experience, preferably in oil and gas or pressure vessel fabrication.
- Ability to pass X-ray quality weld tests.
- MIG Pulse experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of welding procedures (ASME, API, or similar codes).
- Must be able to work 2nd shift and maintain consistent attendance.
- Proficient in the use of grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools.
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
Pay: $27+/hr (based on experience)
