Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate Hospice/Home Health RN for a 13-week contract in Fruitland, ID. Provide expert care, manage symptoms, and support patients and families with dignity and comfort in this rewarding role.

Contract Details:

• Hiring Company: Sunbelt Staffing
• Hiring Client: Nationwide Home Health Agency
• Job Type: Contract, 13 weeks in duration, with possibility of extension
• Location: Fruitland, ID, and surrounding areas
• Hours: Full-Time, Scheduled 40 hours per week, 32 hours guaranteed
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with possible on-call
• Compensation:Competitive hourly pay (negotiable based on experience and territory); paid hourly - not by visit; blended pay packages available for travelers; weekly pay
• Benefits: .48c mileage reimbursement, visit to visit,Medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k) plan
• Productivity: 25per week, 30-32 visits per week

Job Requirements:

• Active Idaho Registered Nurse (RN)License
• Active American Heart Association BLS or American Red Cross BLS
• At least 1 year of recent home health/hospice experience
• Proficiency in Homecare Homebase experience required
• Reliable transportation

Job Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of hospice patients in their homes, focusing on comfort, symptom management, and quality of life.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that align with patients end-of-life goals and provide compassionate, skilled nursing interventions.
• Utilize OASIS and Homecare Homebase for accurate documentation and seamless communication of patient status and care needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team, including physicians, chaplains, social workers, and therapists, to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families on symptom management, medication administration, and coping strategies to ensure comfort and support during the end-of-life journey.
