As a Yard Operations Person at Affton Terminal Services, you will play a crucial role in the smooth functioning of our operations. We are looking for an individual with experience in trucking, railroad, grain loading, and warehouse activity. This position requires physical labor, a fast-paced work environment, and a growth mindset. If you have a strong work ethic, aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, and posses CDL experience, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform various tasks related to trucking, railroad, grain loading, and warehouse operations
• Ensure the efficient flow of activity in the yard, following established procedures and safety protocols
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods
• Operate equipment and machinery necessary for yard operations
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
• Adhere to all company policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in trucking, railroad, grain loading, or warehouse activity
• Physical fitness and ability to perform labor-intensive tasks
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• CDL experience is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
• Excellent time management skills
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
