POSITION SUMMARY
The Print Manager oversees the entire print department, ensuring all projects are executed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory and company standards. This role leads strategic planning, staff development, and process improvements to drive operational excellence across print operations.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily print operations and production schedules; prioritize and allocate resources effectively.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct and oversee quality control checks throughout all stages of production.
- Maintain detailed records of print runs, inventory, audits, and production metrics.
- Lead, train, and manage print staff, including leads and operators, to ensure performance and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align print production with broader organizational goals.
- Evaluate current workflows and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, staffing plans, and performance goals.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS.
- Proven experience in print production management or a related manufacturing/operations leadership role.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements in printing and/or manufacturing environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing teams and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Proficiency with relevant software and production tracking tools is preferred.
