Part-Time Faculty - CPD Applied Technology

Teaching Applied Technology - CPD related course work.

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes.

CPD courses may be taught at any campus, or at an external training site.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree (or higher level degree) in an appropriately relevant field.
• Five (5) years of industry experience; OR
• Ten (10) years of industry experience in lieu of education requirement; OR
• Hold a Licensure/Certification or relevant experience that would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the position's essential duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in teaching Applied Technology coursework in higher education.
• Certification/Licensure within specific area of instructional responsibility is desirable and may be required in some cases if applicable.

Salary Grade: AH

Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
