Must Haves:

• Certified, Licensed, or accredited in the state of Texas with any ASE Certifications 
• • ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician (A1–A8)
  • ASE G1: Auto Maintenance & Light Repair
  • ASE A5: Brakes
  • ASE A6: Electrical/Electronic Systems
  • ASE L1: Advanced Engine Performance Specialist
  • ASE T4: Medium/Heavy Truck Brakes
  • ASE F1: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Vehicles
  • Diesel Engineer Repair (ASE T2)
  • B2: Painting & Refinishing
  • B3: Non-Structural Analysis & Damage Repair
  • B4: Structural Analysis & Damage Repair
  • B5: Mechanical & Electrical Components
• Valid Drivers License

Day to Day:

A client of Insight Global's is looking for Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair Instructor. This teacher will be responsible for hands on learning for students pursing Automotive Maintenance. This role is for anyone with a deep knowledge of being a mechanic in the automotive industry who is looking to teach (changing breaks, oil changes, diagnosing cars, changing lights, fixing flats, air conditioners, heaters, check engine lights, etc). The school does have a curriculum for this class through electronic training that has specific task each student will need to complete. Currently, each period has between 3-4 students. This roles does require 5 days a week on-site.
