Description

\n As an OR RN First Assist, you will work primarily in the operating room, providing critical support to surgeons during procedures. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with surgical operations, managing patient care pre- and post-operation, and ensuring a sterile environment. This role requires strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as a commitment to patient safety. You will work day shifts, with occasional on-call duties. This position is ideal for experienced RNs looking to specialize further in the surgical field.

Requirements\n

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
\n
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification: Required
\n
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
\n
• Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) certification in the state of practice: Preferred
\n
• Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Status (PEARS)/Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Preferred
\n
• MinExperienceRequired: 1-2 years of experience as an RNFA
\n
• Association of perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN) membership: Preferred
