About The Position

Interventional Cardiology Locums - New Mexico, Start in 30 Days

Ongoing hospital-based cardiology assignment in Las Cruces with light volume and one weekend call per month.

Highlights

• Credentialing in just 30 days
• One weekend of 24-hour call per month
• Manageable patient load: 7-10 per day

Practice Setting

• Inpatient hospital environment
• Adult-only population
• Group call structure
• Support from 3 MAs, 1 APP, and 6 office staff

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8a-5p rounding
• 1 weekend of 24-hour call/month
• Potential for some weekday call
• 30-minute call response time

Cases and Procedures

• STEMI coverage
• General cardiology
• Rounding and group call responsibilities

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Active New Mexico license
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Travel Accommodations

• Travel, lodging, rental car, and mileage all covered
