Maintenance Technician/Handyman

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting for apartment rental properties
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner using AppFolio
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cared for
• Communicate effectively with property management and residents regarding maintenance needs and progress
• Travel between properties as needed to perform maintenance tasks

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States
• Fluent in Spanish
• Valid, unrestricted, and unexpired California driver's license
• Possess a complete set of maintenance tools required for basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs
• Experience performing general maintenance and repair work is preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
