This role is crucial in ensuring our products meet stringent quality standards, including compliance with updated ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D for aerospace applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D standards.
- Lead the quality management team in conducting inspections, audits, and quality assessments to ensure high-quality products.
- Collaborate with other departments to set quality goals and monitor progress with key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage the resolution of quality issues through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring all findings are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, standards, and customer requirements for all projects.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation to support quality management and audit processes.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability across the organization through training and mentorship.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and integrate new quality management technologies and techniques as appropriate.
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or related sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D standards.
- Proven experience with quality management systems (QMS) and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt are advantageous.
