Delivery Driver

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Laundry Pick-Up and Delivery Driver. The primary responsibility of this role is to pick up dirty laundry from customers’ locations, deliver clean laundry items, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

Pick up dirty laundry items from customers’ homes or businesses according to scheduled routes.

Load and unload laundry items from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

Verify customer information and laundry orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Provide friendly and professional customer service, including greeting customers upon arrival and addressing any inquiries or concerns.

Safely transport laundry items to the designated processing facility for cleaning.

Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays or issues that may arise.

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, including regular cleaning and maintenance.

Collaborate with the processing facility and dispatch team to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules effectively.

Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and operating the delivery vehicle.

Follow company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and delivery guidelines.

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Previous experience in delivery or transportation preferred.

Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roads and routes.

Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, bend, and stoop.

Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a courteous manner.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying customer information and orders.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Positive attitude and willingness to represent the company in a professional manner.
