Permanent Medical Director - Neonatology

Join an esteemed medical group as the Medical Director of Neonatology at a remarkable facility in Carrollton, Georgia. This practice is committed to delivering outstanding care to our youngest patients in a well-respected environment recognized as a Top 15 Health System by Truven Health Analytics. You will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a fully equipped, Level-III NICU with a thriving patient volume.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee practice operations, collaborating closely with hospital administration and regional management.
• Provide comprehensive coverage for a growing Level-III NICU practice with 1,000 annual births.
• Engage in mentorship and growth opportunities for fellow physicians.
• Maintain a full-time work schedule with a one week on, one week off arrangement.
• Manage patient rounds with on-call responsibilities from home.
• Ensure full-time NNP Coverage is maintained.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Pediatrics.
• Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship working toward BC) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Georgia Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
• Fellowship trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start).
• Strong history of clean malpractice and license records is highly preferred.
• Eligible for J1 or H1B visa support if applicable.
• DEA certification must be obtained prior to start.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified in Pediatrics - Required
• Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - Required
• GA License (or willing to obtain) - Required
• Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - Required
• Clean malpractice and license history - Highly Preferred
• DEA certification - Required
