Job Description:
Seeking a Diagnostic X-Ray Technician who is also proficient in performing CT scans. The candidate will perform radiographic procedures using fixed and mobile radiographic equipment in various hospital areas (e.g., Emergency Room, Main Diagnostic Department) under the supervision of a Manager or Radiologist. The role involves working collaboratively with a team of technologists and hospital staff to deliver excellent patient care and high-quality imaging results.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures according to physician orders.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
- Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Active ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- State Radiologic Technologist License (current and valid).
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required.
Must meet Radiation Quality Standards and have current RT Registration.
