Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT and X-Ray experience to work weekend night shifts at an acute care facility.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in a Radiology department covering both CT and X-Ray in an acute care critical access hospital
  • Patient population includes all ages, handling both inpatient, outpatient, and ER cases
  • Perform chest, extremity, abdomen, and spine X-rays, routine CT scans, and angiograms
  • Typical daily volume: approximately 10 X-rays and 6-8 CT scans
  • Equipment includes GE X-ray, Canon CT scanner, and Philips Intellispace PACS
  • Utilizes Cerner Community Works for EMR documentation
  • Weekend night shifts: 3x12s, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Rare floating may be required to operate the C-arm in surgery
  • Call coverage required if no night staff scheduled, with a 20 minute response time
  • Responsible for performing and processing all diagnostic CT and X-Ray imaging studies
  • Will cover all imaging needs for inpatient, outpatient, ER, and occasionally surgical cases
  • Department offers a supportive team with a radiology manager (Mon-Thurs) and lead tech (Tues-Fri)
  • No specific scrub color required
  • Department-specific orientation provided on one shift
  • Holiday coverage only required if schedule falls on the holiday
\n \n Requirements\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent CT and X-Ray experience required
  • Current ARRT certification in X-Ray required; ARRT in CT preferred
  • Active WA State License required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Proficiency in performing IV starts required
  • Preferred experience with C-arm use in the operating room
  • Experience with Cerner Community Works and Philips Intellispace PACS preferred
