American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at an acute care hospital in Santa Rosa, CA, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience with trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho case experience.

- Work in the Operating Room of a 277-bed acute care hospital \n
- Trauma-level facility with neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical cases \n
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00) with variable start times of 7:00 or 9:00 \n
- May be required to cover occasional night shifts as needed during the contract \n
- Weekend work is required \n
- On-call is required and distributed equally among all nursing staff approximately every 6 weeks, with up to 6–8 call shifts per 6-week period, including nights, evenings, and weekends (8-hour call blocks) \n
- Floating between all facilities within the state is expected; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment \n
- Block scheduling considered at manager's discretion \n
- Charting via Epic (experience required) \n

- Active CA RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted \n
- Current BLS certification required \n
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required \n
- Experience with trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical cases required due to facility trauma status \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration \n
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration \n

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- Local candidates are accepted \n
- Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility \n
- Scrubs are provided \n
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration; minimal RTO is preferred \n
