RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
\n• Patient ratios of 1:6 general patients; 1:4 for Heart Cath patients (estimated, never guaranteed)
\n• Work on 37-bed Intermediate Care/Telemetry unit on 3rd floor
\n• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience required
\n• BLS and ACLS certifications required
\n• Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
\n• NIH certification preferred
\n• Work with equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
\n• Perform procedures such as central line care, medication drips, heart catheterization recovery, and bubble studies
\n• Must demonstrate positive attitude, independence, and strong critical thinking skills
\n• Focus on providing positive patient care experience
\n• Work alongside day shift team of 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, and 1 Unit Clerk
