\n\nJob Description\n

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory care services to a diverse patient population including adults, geriatrics, pediatrics, and infants within a 100-bed facility. The therapist will utilize advanced equipment such as ventilators, EKGs, BiPAPs, and O2, contributing to high-quality patient care. The role requires skills in managing adult ventilators and providing CPAP therapy.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments according to physician orders.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy and adjust interventions as necessary.
\n
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory therapy, treatments, and equipment.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and outcomes.
\n
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and ensure proper function.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with current certification.
\n
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar clinical setting.
\n
• Experience with adult ventilation and pediatric respiratory care is essential.
\n
