Job Status: Seasonal

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $21.00+ per hour during paid training. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

  • Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employees. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, etc.) also available. 

Job Summary:

Shuttle drivers are responsible for safely operating a 16-person van along assigned routes, following all company, federal, and state regulations. The goal is to provide guests and employees with reliable, safe, and timely transportation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate the assigned van safely and efficiently, adhering to routes and defensive driving practices.

  • Provide guests with current information on resort services, activities, weather, and locations.

  • Anticipate shuttle locations to keep the system running smoothly, make announcements, and answer guest questions.

  • Staff shuttle stops to assist guests with boarding and provide up-to-date information.

  • Maintain daily records (ridership counts, arrival/wait times, etc.).

  • Perform daily light maintenance and safety checks (cleanliness, tire and light inspection, etc.).

  • Report maintenance needs to the Vehicle Maintenance Department.

  • Maintain proficiency in all required skills, including shuttle announcements and defensive driving.

  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning vehicles and installing tire chains.

  • Maintain a positive, helpful, and courteous attitude with guests and coworkers.

  • Participate in the DOT/FHWA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.

Basic Requirements:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Able to work outdoors for up to 10 hours in a winter alpine environment.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug test and remain on active random testing list.

  • Must have a current DOT medical card or be able to obtain one.

  • Must report any traffic violations or suspensions.

  • Must inform supervisor of any prescription drugs that may impair driving.

  • Must have a valid US driver’s license.

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Must have an excellent driving record and provide proof.

Preferred Experience and Special Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Previous guest service experience preferred.

  • Winter driving experience preferred.
