Health Unit Coordinator | Inpatient Behavioral Health - Full-time

As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for Inpatient Behavioral Health you will serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities include processing of physician orders, maintaining the patient’s chart and performing clerical/receptionist duties to support patient care staff. 
 

Schedule

• Full-time | 60 hours every two weeks
• 12-hour day shift | variable days Mon – Fri | 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. 
• Will be scheduled every 3rd weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) | holiday rotation
• Onsite | St. Cloud Hospital
  
   

Pay and Benefits

• Starting pay begins at $17.83 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience

  • Pay range:  $16.59-$25.54 per hour

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• National Health Unit Coordinator certification preferred.
• Previous experience utilizing an EMR (electronic medical record) preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred.
