Position: Admissions Specialist
Program: Eddy Center
Location: Middletown
Salary: $21.00 /hourly
Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, 2nd shift Monday (2:30-10:30p), 1st shift, Tuesday - Wednesday (7-3p) & Friday (10-6p)
Program Summary:
Eddy Center is a transitional 24-hour residential program which provides both supervision and support to men who are under the supervision of Parole. Services are designed to support positive community re-entry.
Position Summary:
The Admissions Specialist is responsible for welcoming and orienting clients to the program, completing initial intake paperwork including required assessments, and supporting the client throughout the intake process. This position also facilitates psycho-educational groups/activities as assigned and may carry a case load. This position is non-exempt and works under the supervision of the Program Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma or GED & 4 years of related experience
- 2+ years related experience
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
Orientation:
If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
