Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional tutor to provide high-quality educational support to students through our online platform. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, skilled in fostering student growth, and committed to creating a positive and engaging learning experience.

 

 

Work Environment

• This is a part-time position
• Operating hours: M-F
• Approximately 12 hours per week
• Remote - Must reside in Tennessee

Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective and tailored instructional support to students in assigned subjects or areas of focus. 
• Prepare thoroughly for each session, including reviewing student needs, gathering materials, and customizing lessons to meet individual learning goals. 
• Build strong, supportive relationships with students to foster a comfortable and productive learning environment, while staying attuned to their academic progress and needs. 
• Adhere to organizational policies, including guidelines for student interactions, professional conduct, and communication standards. 
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress, including evaluations and updates on academic performance. 
• Exhibit a positive, enthusiastic, and encouraging demeanor in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues. 

Qualifications:

• Must have an active teaching license in Tennessee or by a tutoring facility accredited by an SBE approved agency to improve a child’s academic performance
• Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or providing educational support. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students and adapt to diverse learning needs. 
• Experience in working with students of various age groups and academic levels.

Pay Range: USD $25.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.
