Description
Culinary Team Member (Waffle Cabin)
General Purpose:
As a Waffle Cabin Attendant, you’ll be the face of our cozy cabin, preparing and serving warm waffles and beverages to hungry skiers and snowboarders. You’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere while keeping things clean, efficient, and delicious.
This is a seasonal position from November to April. Dates are subject to change based on the availability of the applicant and needs of the business. This role comes with a free season pass for you and your dependents. For a full list of benefits visit
Hiring for our seasonal positions occurs on a rolling basis. This position will remain open until filled.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve waffles, toppings, and hot drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Operate waffle irons and handle basic food prep
- Provide cheerful and prompt customer service
- Restock supplies and assist with daily setup/cleanup
- Monitor inventory levels of batter, toppings, utensils, and packaging
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Support other areas of the operation as needed
- Work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment with varying weather conditions
- Adjust to changing business needs based on snow conditions and guest volume
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Familiarity with operating waffle irons and food prep equipment
- Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Efficient multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
- Time management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow recipes and portion guidelines consistently
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Adapt to changing weather conditions and guest volume
- Maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards throughout shift
Working Environment/Physical Activities:
- Fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere with frequent customer interactions.
- Standing for extended periods and frequent movement around the kitchen and serving areas.
- Handling and lifting of supplies, equipment, and food items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to sharp utensils and hot surfaces; adherence to safety protocols is essential.
