JARC Transportation Specialist
The Worcester County Department of Social Services has assessed the need for transportation services to be offered for TCA customers. This service has been identified as a critical support for TCA customers trying to find employment with transportation services being a challenge in Worcester County.
JARC Transportation Specialist: The primary focus of the JARC Transportation Specialist is to provide TCA customers with transportation to the Tri-County Workforce Development Initiative office located at the One Stop Job Market in Salisbury. The Tri-County Workforce Development Initiative staff provides job development, work experience, community services, and life skills training. Transportation will also be provided for the purpose of enhancing employability and quality of life. Destinations include, but are not limited to Motor Vehicle Administration, Medical offices, hospitals, Social Security office, employment office, job fairs, training opportunities, job interviews, and etc.
