Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a busy Level I Trauma Center in Fargo, North Dakota. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in General, ENT, Orthopedic, and Neuro cases and experience working in a large, fast-paced hospital environment with 25 OR suites.
Key Details:
Bed/OR Count: 25 OR suites | 75–100 cases per day
Orientation: 8 hours
Scrub Color: Ceil Blue (provided by facility)
Local Rule:
No travelers living within 60 miles of the facility
May need to stay late as required (not considered call-back time)
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2+ years as a Surgical Tech in a large hospital or trauma setting
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) required
ND UAP: Must show proof of initiating application within 3 business days of offer acceptance
Experience with Robotics required
Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center
Procedures & Equipment:
Primary procedures: Orthopedics, ENT, Plastics, General, Trauma
Systems used: Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, and Stryker total replacements (experience in at least one required)
Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons and OR staff during operative and invasive procedures
Prepare surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
Maintain aseptic and safe operating room environment
Support patient care team to ensure efficient surgical workflow
