BBSI is recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm seeking an Employment Attorney to join their growing team in Temecula, California. Key Responsibilities
- Advise and represent California employers in matters involving state labor and employment laws.
- Handle litigation matters including court appearances, mediations, and depositions.
- Draft and customize employment agreements, policies, and compliance documentation.
- Lead legal strategy and provide counsel with the support of a dedicated team.
- Manage a reasonable caseload that focuses on quality over excessive billable hours.
- Billable Expectation: Full-time attorneys target 1,450 billed and collected hours annually. Origination is not required but is rewarded.
Qualifications
- Active member of the California Bar in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of California employment law litigation experience (plaintiff or defense).
- Strong understanding of state employment law; federal experience is a plus.
- Ethical, driven, and motivated to provide exceptional client service.
- Collaborative and proactive with a growth mindset.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $125,000-$150,000 DOE, plus bonuses and incentives (OTE up to $175,000).
