Quality Assurance Supervisor in Manufacturing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following, but other duties may be assigned as the company's needs dictate.

• Review production paperwork, batch records, QC inspection and sanitation reports, by checking and auditing the documents for accuracy and completeness, calculate production yield and ensure compliance with the established specification limits.

• Ensures that the established QC/QA procedures are followed.

• Ensures that good documentation practices and good manufacturing practices are followed.

• Coordinates and expedites rush orders for finished product, raw materials, and packaging materials as needed.

• Coordinates, reworks and reconditioning activities together with inventory control and production departments and assures that all product assigned is shipped and returned to inventory in a timely manner.

• Reviews and signs off micro releases’ labels, boxes, files, etc.

• Performs Monthly Internal audits

• Monitors and drives adherence to organizational KPIs

• Leads product failure and customer complaint investigations and maintains Customer Complaint and Material Non-Conformance files.

• Oversees the equipment and instruments calibration and preventive maintenance program. Assist in maintaining environmental and pest control programs.

Education Requirements/Work Experience

•Quality certification (CQMOE, CQE, or CQA) preferred

• Manufacturing industry-specific experience preferred

Computer Skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office -- MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with ERP (NetSuites).

Start time between 7AM to 8AM each day to 4PM or 4:30PM Monday - Friday--40 to 50 hour work week

Compensation:

$50K-$55K Plus OT Pay
