Acute Care Social Worker

We are seeking an Acute Care Social Worker to join our team! You will provide emotional and administrative support to clients in either individual or group settings.

Facility Salary: $83,283.00 to $108,268.00 Annually + Benefits

Shift: Days M-F

Sub Specialties: Acute Care Social Worker (Medical) – Licensed/Clinical, Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Behavioral Psych Therapist, Mental Health Therapist, Mental Health Counselor

Responsibilities:

• Assess nature of clients' situations by interviewing and reviewing personal history
• Develop and execute individual treatment plans
• Determine appropriate milestones to gauge client progress
• Communicate client updates to all relevant parties
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programs
• Maintain accurate client documentation

Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: Master’s degree in a human services related field including social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology. Prefer three (3) years of sobriety if in recovery.
• Completed the clinical practicum as part of the Master’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience in a relevant setting.
• Experience and proficiency in clinical/therapeutic setting including assessments, crisis intervention, creating therapeutic goals and treatment plan.
• Clinical supervisory experience preferred.
• License, Certification, Registration: Appropriate State of Alaska licensure for licensed clinical social work or licensed professional counselor within 6 months of hire.
