Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Ferndale, Washington, on a contract basis. Responsibilities:
• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment processing, and cash postings.
• Reconcile cash transactions and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Process credit card payments and maintain proper documentation for audits.
• Utilize accounting software such as SYSPRO and Concur to streamline workflows.
• Analyze and resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable balances.
• Prepare detailed reports on accounts receivable activity for management review.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency in cash applications and reconciliation processes.
• Support additional accounting projects and tasks as assigned.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.
• Proficiency in cash applications and reconciliation processes.
• Hands-on experience with accounting tools such as SYSPRO and Concur.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
