Cath Lab Tech - Radiology / Cardiology Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay 3x12-Hour Shift (06:30 - 19:00) with call required on 8 weeknights and four (4) 24-hour weekends in a six-week schedule.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Tech to join our dynamic team in the Radiology / Cardiology department. The ideal candidate will be skilled in various cardiac procedures and possess a strong understanding of cardiac care principles, ensuring patient safety and effective collaborations with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities- Set up equipment and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
- Circulate rooms and assist with various cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond appropriately.
- Support interventional cardiac procedures such as PCI and PTCA.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Tech.
- ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS certifications are required.
- Preferred skills include experience with cardiac procedures such as stent placement, IABP placement/removal, and catheterizations.
