Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in GE ultrasound equipment.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital ultrasound department with general sonography responsibilities
- Schedule is Friday through Sunday, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with 12-hour day shifts
- Rotating call required every 5th or 6th weekend
- Floating may be required within the hospital, within scope of practice
- Uses Cerner EMR system; experience preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- No time off will be accepted after an offer is made
- Returning staff must have a one-year gap before being considered
- Mandatory online modules completed virtually on the first contract day and annually
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience required
- Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment required
- Valid Maryland or Compact State license required if applicable
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of certifications and government ID required for consideration
- Experience with Cerner documentation system preferred
