Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room RN to join our perioperative team. This role is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and proficient in supporting surgical teams across a variety of specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the OR with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies
• Assist surgeons during procedures by anticipating needs and maintaining a sterile environment
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and communicate effectively with the surgical team
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, medications, and patient information
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times
• Provide post-anesthesia care and coordinate with PACU staff as needed

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience in an acute care setting
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation
• Ability to work efficiently in high-stress, fast-paced environments
