Job DescriptionCompany Description
Our client is a real estate firm. They seek a temp to perm Financial Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsbilities
- Review monthly reports, including check variances and cash balances
- Monitor commercial billing, including rent increases and escalations
- Verify the accuracy of unit charges for sublet, storage, bicycle, fitness, etc.
- Oversee company-wide payroll, utilities, contracts, supplies, etc.
- Make necessary re-classifications and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Produce cash flow and funding analysis for capital project costs
- Manage and fund capital expenditures and prepare annual budgets
- Build relationships with accounting staff and property managers
- Attend meetings and present various finance reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of Accounting experience
- Real estate industry background
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Able to follow procedures and lead by example
- Responsive and able to meet deadlines
- Reliable, professional demeanor
- Skilled in MDS as well as MS Excel and Word
