Fleet Mechanic - Part-time

Seize the opportunity to become a pivotal part of our team as a Part Time/Weekend  Fleet Mechanic. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our diverse fleet of FedEx branded vehicles, including Tractors, Straight, Box, and Vans. 
* CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR:

Part time mechanic: Saturday & Sunday 7am until 5pmResponsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing effective solutions.
• Repair various systems including electrical, brake, hydraulic, suspension, A/C, and air brakes.
• Perform Road calls, as needed, to ensure fleet reliability.
• Conduct Annual Inspections to maintain safety standards.
• Perform daily, on-the-spot maintenance inspections prior to the vehicles leaving the terminal for the day.
• Manage your own time effectively to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of practical related work experience in fleet maintenance or a similar role.
• Must pass a drug test to ensure safety and compliance.
• Valid driver's license in good standing to enable driving of serviced vehicles.
• Must pass a background check, no Felonies or Misdemeanors.
