American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/IR position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and one prior travel assignment.
Details- Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology (IR) unit within a hospital setting
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- On-call required one weekend every 4–6 weeks; weekday call required every other week
- No additional weekend shift requirements beyond call
- Floating may be required to Cath Lab holding area
- Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
- Active DC RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, procedural areas, ICU, or ER
- Moderate sedation administration experience required
- IV insertion experience required
- At least 1 prior travel assignment required
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- Perform Cath Lab and IR nursing care including moderate sedation administration and IV access
- No holiday time-off requests will be accommodated
- Flu vaccine required
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
