Dermatologist Full-Time Opportunity in Jackson, MI

Premier Physician Services is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Dermatologist to help relaunch and build a collaborative dermatology practice in Jackson, Michigan. This newly renovated medical center offers comprehensive services for men, women, and children, supported by a warm and welcoming staff.

Position Overview

This is a full-time, outpatient-based role with a strong emphasis on medical dermatology and room to expand cosmetic services. You ll join a system that values work-life balance and clinical excellence.
• Start Date: As soon as possible (allow 90 days for credentialing)
• Setting: Outpatient clinic within a Level II Trauma Center
• Coverage Reason: Reopening of dermatology services
• Schedule: Monday Friday, flexible hours; minimum 36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours weekly
• EMR: EPIC
• Visa Sponsorship: Open to H1B candidates only (J1 not accepted)
• Not Open To: Locums, 1099 arrangements, long-distance commuters (1+ hour), dual-job candidates, or those with lapsed board certification

Clinical Focus
• Medical vs. Cosmetic Mix: 90% medical dermatology, 10% cosmetic (with potential to grow cosmetic services)
• Procedure Volume: 80% of visits involve procedures (e.g., skin tag removals, biopsies)
• Patient Flow: 4 5 patients/hour, with 3 4 involving procedures
• Team Culture: Supportive, patient-centered, and committed to excellence

Candidate Requirements
• Board-Certified or TRULY Board-Eligible in Dermatology (must certify within 3 years of graduation) Required
• Michigan Medical License (active or willing to obtain) Required
• BLS and DEA certifications (active or willing to obtain) Required
• Clean malpractice and licensure history Required
• Flu vaccination Required
