Position Overview:
Tap Healthcare is seeking a motivated and skilled Physician Assistant (Surgical 1st Assistant) to join a respected healthcare organization in Geneva, New York. This is a full-time, hospital-based position assisting in surgical procedures, pre- and post-operative care, and patient management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to patient care.

Required Qualifications:
Doctorate Degree (PA-C, DMSc, or equivalent) from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Less than one year of experience required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Current Physician Assistant license in New York State.
National Certification (NCCPA) required.
Valid DEA license.
BLS and ACLS certification.
Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in general surgery, orthopedics, or cardiovascular procedures preferred.
Experience assisting in both inpatient and outpatient surgical settings.
