Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Rental Turnover Cleaner. This role is crucial for ensuring our vacation and long-term rental properties are immaculately clean, well-stocked, and ready to provide an exceptional experience for our incoming guests and tenants. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and understands the importance of presentation and sanitation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality and efficient cleaning of vacation rentals between guest stays ("flips"), which includes:
Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas.
Changing linens, making beds, and arranging towels with a hotel-like presentation.
Restocking essential supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and coffee.
Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and dusting all surfaces.
Ensuring the property is perfectly staged and welcoming for the next guest.
Conduct detailed, deep cleans of long-term rental properties between tenants ("turns") to ensure they are move-in ready. This includes tasks like cleaning inside appliances, cabinets, and closets, and washing baseboards.
Identify and report any maintenance issues, damages, or low inventory of supplies to management in a timely manner.
Manage your time effectively to complete all assigned cleanings within the scheduled turnover window.
Adhere to a cleaning checklist to ensure consistency and quality across all properties.
Communicate professionally with the property management team regarding scheduling and property status.
Schedule & Hours
This is a part-time position with hours that vary based on guest check-outs and tenant move-outs.
Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) is required, as these are our busiest turnover days.
All work is scheduled during daytime hours. No evening shifts are required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience in professional cleaning is strongly preferred (housekeeping, janitorial, residential, or hotel cleaning).
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Must have reliable transportation to travel between multiple property locations.
A smartphone is required for communication, scheduling, and using cleaning apps/checklists.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform the physical tasks associated with cleaning, such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
