Job Description
Our client is an automated machinery manufacturer with their US headquarters in Suffolk County. They are looking for a Tax Coordinator for a 3 month project. The role is on-site and the hours are: M - F 8AM -5PM Pay- $22/HR.
Requirements:
HS Diploma
1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be proficient in math & MS Office suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, & Word.
Must have good communication skills, verbal & written.
Job Duties:
Organize the sales tax-exempt certificates files to determine which certificates expired.
Obtain sales tax-exempt certificates from customers.
Analyze the US state websites or call local government agencies to determine if sales tax account is needed.
May set up sales tax accounts for client on each state's portal.
Performs other duties as assigned.
