Job SummaryAs a key leader in our long-term care facility, you will:
- Administer the nursing program to uphold the highest standards of resident care.
- Facilitate the optimization of geriatric care processes to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Oversee the quality of care provided by our dedicated nursing personnel.
- Advise medical staff and administrators on nursing service strategies.
- Interpret policies and objectives to staff and community groups.
- Monitor nursing operations to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Schedule staff and conduct performance reviews.
- Provide nursing care to residents as needed.
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing activities and community events.
You will also have overall responsibility for:
- Day-to-day operations of the facility, including resident care quality and environmental safety.
- Managing budget constraints while responding to identified needs for regulatory compliance.
- Delegating and coordinating clinical, operational, and managerial activities.
- Leading the development and execution of clinical programs and policies.
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred, but not required.
- Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Five years of nursing experience, with experience in housing with services or assisted living being a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of care.
- An unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
- Required competencies and certifications for the department.
