Job Summary

As a key leader in our long-term care facility, you will:

  • Administer the nursing program to uphold the highest standards of resident care.
  • Facilitate the optimization of geriatric care processes to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Oversee the quality of care provided by our dedicated nursing personnel.
  • Advise medical staff and administrators on nursing service strategies.
  • Interpret policies and objectives to staff and community groups.
  • Monitor nursing operations to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Schedule staff and conduct performance reviews.
  • Provide nursing care to residents as needed.
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing activities and community events.

You will also have overall responsibility for:

  • Day-to-day operations of the facility, including resident care quality and environmental safety.
  • Managing budget constraints while responding to identified needs for regulatory compliance.
  • Delegating and coordinating clinical, operational, and managerial activities.
  • Leading the development and execution of clinical programs and policies.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred, but not required.
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Five years of nursing experience, with experience in housing with services or assisted living being a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of care.
  • An unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Required competencies and certifications for the department.
