Construction Safety Manager
Location: Bowling Green, OH
Duration: 4 weeks (Start 10/27)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Position Details

• Hourly Rate: $52/HR (local) $49/HR (non-local)

• Per Diem: $115/Day on seven days if over 50 miles

• Completion Bonus: $150/month

• Pay Frequency: Weekly

• Schedule: M-F 10hr shifts and Saturday for 8 hours | 58hrs/week

Project Scope

Safety Manager overseeing the safety of laying rebar on a large data center.

Qualifications

• BCSP credential STSC, CHST, ASP, CSP OR Bachelor's degree in a safety-related discipline.
• OSHA 30 OR 510 OR 500 completed in the last three years

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments

• Support incident investigations, report findings, and implement corrective actions

• Deliver safety training and orientation for employees, subcontractors, and new hires

• Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify safety risks and mitigate hazards

• Maintain safety performance, incident, and compliance documentation and reports

• Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization

Skills & Knowledge

Skills:

• Excellent public speaking and communication abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction

• Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations
