• Balanced inpatient and outpatient setting with strong nursing support
• Wide scope including low- and high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, and surgical procedures
Assignment Details
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Call Only
• Schedule: 24-hour beeper call, 1:2 rotation
• Current urgent need: Sept 28 (7am) â€" Oct 3 (7am)
• Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient
• EMR: MediTech
• Privileges: Required (temporary privileges available)
• Estimated Credentialing: 10 days
• Patient Volumes: 5 patients per shift
• Department: 7 beds
• Trauma Level: I
• Support Staff: 19 RNs, 3 MAs, 3 APPs, 3 office staff
Requirements
• Board Certified or Eligible in OB/GYN
• Active Kentucky license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Clean file for privileging
Clinical Details
• Obstetrics:
- Low- and high-risk pregnancy care - FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE) - OB ultrasounds (Level I & II) - Amniocentesis - Vaginal and forceps delivery - C-section decision-making and performance - Complicated deliveries (breech, multiple births, abruptions) - Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Gynecology:
- Office/minor procedures: IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP
• Surgical GYN:
- Open - Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor (tubal ligation, LOA, chromal tubation) - Operative/major (ectopic, oophorectomy, cystectomy, LOA)Compensation
• Rates: Facility is accepting bids
• Malpractice: Provided
• Travel: Reimbursed
