How You’ll Contribute

In this role, you’ll coordinate inventory movement and ensure safe, efficient material handling across the warehouse and rail yard.

• Safely operate forklifts to transport materials, pallets, and equipment.
• Handle inbound/outbound activity: load and unload trucks and storage locations.
• Confirm every load is stable, secured, and undamaged.
• Keep work areas clean and safe; champion good housekeeping.
• Complete the Forklift Operator Daily Checklist before using equipment.
• Follow department SOPs and other required procedures.
• Connect and disconnect rail cars daily in all weather conditions.
• Learn and operate a turret truck for high-reach tasks.
• Assist with warehouse layout and space utilization; transfer inventory when needed.
• Support the team with other duties and cross-functional tasks as assigned.

Skills & Background

• Proficiency in reading and understanding English.
• Comfort with basic math.
• Demonstrated forklift operating experience.
• Experience preparing inventory and participating in monthly and year-end raw material physical inventories.
• Strong attention to detail and solid written/verbal communication.
• High school diploma or GED.

When You’ll Work

Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to perform the job.
• Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties. Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
