Trim Carpenter

Tradeco Construction is currently seeking multiple Trim Carpenters to install and repair the final architectural details on baseboards, crown molding, and around windows and doors. The successful candidates will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and fitting materials like wood or plastic, using tools like saws and sanders, and ensuring the work is precise and polished. This position is located in Frisco, Colorado. This is a short term assignment that will last approximately 3 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Measure, cut, and install interior and exterior trim, including baseboards, crown molding, window and door casings, and other millwork.

·        Repair or replace damaged trim and other structural components.

·        Apply decorative finishes such as staining, painting, or varnishing to completed trim work.

·        Study blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine project layouts and material requirements.

·        Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools, such as chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders.

·        Adhere to safety regulations, maintain a clean work environment, and keep equipment in good working order.

·        Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications:

·        Proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools.

·        Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

·        Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.

·        Good math skills, including fractions.

·        Excellent problem-solving abilities.

·        Strong communication and teamwork skills.

·        Physical stamina to handle tasks that involve standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials.
