Project Assistant (Construction) - Cocoa, FL

Location: Cocoa Beach, FL
Salary: $50,000 – $65,000 per year + Vehicle Allowance + Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time | Field-Based (90%) | Office-Based (10%)

About the Role:
We are seeking a Construction Field Support Specialist to join our dynamic team during the construction phase of our structural restoration projects. This role is field-focused, with daily site visits across Central Florida (from Titusville to Fort Pierce), and occasional office work based in our Cocoa Beach location.

Key Responsibilities:

-Conduct daily visits to multiple construction sites to gather field data, measurements, and photographic documentation.
-Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, contractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless project execution.
-Maintain and organize project documentation using platforms like Dropbox, SharePoint, OneDrive, and QuickBase.
-Update and manage records including repair maps, quantity spreadsheets, reports, and site photos.
-Operate drones for aerial photography (training can be provided).
-Ensure safety compliance while working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or swing stages.

Qualifications:
Required:
-Experience in construction or related industries.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based platforms (Dropbox, SharePoint, OneDrive).
-Strong organizational and communication skills.
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (vehicle allowance and fuel reimbursement provided).
-Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights using safety equipment.

Preferred:
-Experience in construction field support or project coordination.
-Familiarity with tools like QuickBase, FastField, BlueBeam, and GoodNotes.
-Drone operation experience (FAA certification is a plus).
-Military background is a plus.
