\n\nJob Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience supporting cardiac and vascular procedures\n
• Prior travel nursing experience required\n
• Active Virginia RN license or Compact RN license (acceptable for Lynchburg, VA)\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications required\n
• Clinical ability to first scrub in CVOR/cardiac surgery procedures\n
• Cerner EMR experience preferred (documentation skills in perioperative charting)\n
• All requested time off must be submitted with application\n

\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Serve as first scrub RN for cardiovascular and cardiac surgery cases\n
• Provide perioperative patient care before, during, and after surgery\n
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and OR staff\n
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to CVOR safety and infection-control protocols\n
• Participate in weekday and weekend call rotations as required\n
• Accurately document patient information and surgical details in Cerner EMR\n
