American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring at least 2 years of experience with strong neuro and stroke background, working night shifts at a university hospital.

- Neuro ICU unit within a university hospital setting \n
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) \n
- Required to work every other weekend, with at least 50% of holidays covered during the contract \n
- Float to ICU and Med Surg as needed \n
- Cerner charting experience preferred but not required \n
- \n
- Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses) \n
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required \n
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year in Neuro ICU or equivalent specialty \n
- ICU experience with a strong neuro background required \n
- Stroke experience required \n
- Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more \n
- 2 professional references required for consideration \n

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility may be considered but at a reduced pay rate \n
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application \n
- This is an active role in a 24/7 healthcare facility; rotating shifts and availability during inclement weather are expected \n
- Regular exposure to patients with contagious illnesses is inherent to this role \n
