Job Summary:

Produce machined parts through operation of CNC machines while maintaining quality and safety standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC vertical mills and lathes
  • Load and unload parts
  • Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance conditions
  • Perform assigned preventative maintenance
  • Comply with all quality policies, specifications, and instructions
  • Maintain a neat work area
  • Other Shop duties as assigned
Requirements:

Skills:

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to use micrometers, calipers, or various measuring tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Possesses high quality standards and a commitment to excellence
  • Must be able to work well independently and as a team
  • Must be self-starter able to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Must possess a sense of urgency and accountability

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of machining experience preferred but not required
  • High school degree or equivalent required

Job Detail:

  • Full time with benefit or part time without benefits
  • Swing shift 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM Monday – Thursday
  • Wage $17.00-19.00 or DOE (plus shift differential)

Essential Functions:

  • Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including protective toe footwear, when required
  • Standing and walking for long periods of time
  • Use of upper body, arms, and hands throughout the day
  • Lifting 20-50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day and occasionally more than 50 pounds
  • Bending, stooping, and reaching overhead throughout the day to reach materials to move or pickup
